The shoes are well built, has good presence and work great for walking on uneven terrain, mountains and places where it takes an extra grip to the surface. Although you can walk with them, jogging is not recommended because they are not very flexible and the internal damping is rather hard. Definitely they have not been designed for jogging. My personal assessment is excellent for these shoes. Highly recommended for the purposes I mentioned. Quality workmanship and materials, which is critical on the trail. One small quibble, and this is just a matter of choice. I think that in a SHOE, one might prefer non-waterproof for extra breathability. Not that this shoe is a sweatbox, but it would be better without the waterproofing, imho. They are sturdy and comfortable. I wear out a pair about every year. I work them pretty hard in my line of work. When I'm done with a pair in the workplace, I use them to work in the yard and garden and they last me another year in that capacity. So, go ahead, buy a pair and see for yourself. |
