I am now on my third pair of Pearls. I realize that everyone is made differently and therefore we run differently but for me, these shoes are near perfect and look very good. They are light yet correct for my light pronation, When I run I am just not aware of the shoes. That one-piece sock construction really works and the shoes move with you with no annoying tightness or things squeezing or digging in. They also give great support - especially through the arch - yet they roll right with me as I stride along. I can't praise them enough, this company really has it down when it comes to running shoes. My Pearl Izumis are holding up incredibly. Despite ankle problems in the past, I haven't really experienced any soreness there when running in these shoes. I have over 300 miles on them now, so I will probably trade in before too long, but looking at them the tread looks fresh and the cushion is seemingly like new. I highly recommend these shoes. |
